Introduction
Explore Sri Lanka with us as we take you on jeep safaris and elephant rides, through tea plantations and spice gardens, with tropical beach time at the end of your journey. We visit the Elephant Orphanage to see the world’s largest herd of domestic elephants, and baby elephants being bottle-fed. We cycle around the Medieval Capital of Polonnaruwa and we visit the Hill Capital of Kandy, where we watch Kandyan dancers, drummers and fire-walking. We walk though spice gardens to learn about the local spices, and we visit a Tea Factory and Plantation to learn how the world famous “Ceylon Tea” is made, and to taste the pure tea. We take jeep safaris in two areas to spot wild elephants and other wild animals, and there is also the chance to ride an elephant. We discover the beauty of World’s End and the Horton Plains, and at the end of our holiday, we relax on the palm-fringed beaches of the south coast at Bentota. Here we can enjoy a boat ride to see the local lifestyles, take part in the many water sport activities, or just relax on the white sand beach or by the pool – a perfect end to your time in Sri Lanka.
The tour price displayed is valid for both adults and children.
