Introduction
The highlight of this tour is without a doubt the exhilarating trek through the rainforest to get close to the Mountain Gorillas, the rarest of the apes. This is truly an experience not to be missed! Also enjoy the best of Uganda from its super friendly people, to the adrenaline rush of rafting the source of the Nile. See for yourself the lush scenery that inspired this country to become known as the ‘Pearl of Africa’ and perhaps spend a day helping out on a community volunteer project. We also travel through the Kenyan Great Rift Valley visiting Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for leopard and rhino, and beautiful Lake Naivasha. This tour is a brief but fascinating introduction to East Africa. Please Note: For those passengers wishing to take part in the Gorilla Trek, we must organise your Gorilla trek permit in advance.
